The Bastide de Bringairet is located in Armissan, in the heart of the Massif de la Clape, between Narbonne and the Mediterranean Sea. The 200 years old Bastide de Bringairet is embedded in an idyllic park with 8000 qm. Here you can enjoy the wonderful landscape and the calmness. Both apartments invite to relax and and pause in quiet location, even if it takes just 10 minutes (7 km) by car to go to the beach and to the freeway.

In Roman times La Clape was an island. Today an extraordinary and unique flora and fauna can be found in this protected area. The cliffy landscape of La Clape reminds one of the beautiful landscape of the Greek Islands. The former island, with the 17 km long and 7 km wide Massif de la Clape, is located 214 m above sea level and fringed by the beach.

The Languedoc-Roussillon is famous for its hilly landscape which is affected by the winegrowing. The Massif de la Clape and the Massif de Fontfroide offer wonderful hiking and cycle tracks through the regional conservation area Narbonnaise en Méditerranée. From the mountains you have a fantastic view onto the lagoons of Bages-Sigean and Leucate, as well as onto the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees.

With about 50.000 inhabitants Narbonne is one of the biggest cities at Languedoc. It is located at the Canal de la Robine, which connects the Canal du Midi with the nearby Mediterranean Sea.

Narbonne was the first Roman colony outside Italy. The rests of Via Domitia, the first Roman street in Gaul, which connected Italy with the Spanish colonies, can still be seen in Narbonne today. The cathedral Saint-Just is also worth a visit. With its 41 m high choir it is one of the highest cathedrals in France.

Narbonne is also famous for the Pont des Marchands, a bridge built up of houses, which crosses the Canal de la Robine.

Narbonne has a fantastic market hall. Here you get the foods for the daily needs, as well as typical regional products, wine and a huge assortment of fresh dishes for take away.

The 7  km long and broad Narbonne beach is flat sandy and gently sloping, because of that it is very suitable for children. In the summer months sport programs for every age are offered at the beach.

From the beach you have an awesome view onto the Pyrenees and the preserve area of La Clape region.
